This is our road trip from kawakawa to waiheke island our budget was $4000 

My term 3 reflection

1.One thing I wish I did differently in Term 3 was try harder in my work

and put more effort to my learning and payed attention more

2.One thing I was proud of in Term 3 was how many test i

achieved.

3.My main focus this term is to listen more and pay attention to my learning

and put more effort into my work

4.When I need help I know to now that i can ask a teacher or the teacher aid for help

5.At the end of this term, I want to be able to say that I achieved my goal of passing all my tests and getting a good grade

 

Options 2022

 Today im feeling happy because im at school with my friends. When im sad i go and watch buses to cheer me up because i love buses and the rev they have. Thinking about next year my favourite options i picked music,dty,art and food technology. these are my favourite things to do. i dont have a lame joke because im not fun.

What i learnt and how we learnt about social studies during lockdown

During lockdown we were on the social studies topic of culture. During lockdown we had google meets online to keep our Social studies learning going. I enjoyed the online learning and google meetings because they were good fun. I had done a few work tasks done like my culture mind map,special NZ towns and more. I managed to get all of those done and posted on my blog what you can take a look at yourself. Now i am back at school finishing more work but i have recently finished a piece of work written about how Nz culture differs from indian culture (I picked indian culture) but i am not sure what the next topic for social studies is but i have progresed in my work.

 My favourite NZ town

We have been studying NZ culture, including NZ towns and their symbols.  My favourite town is Kawakawa. The reason i love Kawakawa is because its my hometown but not just that it has such a great community,the amazing Huddertwasser art and museum,the only train that runs through the middle of statehighway 1 in New zealand and more. My favourite part of Kawakawa is the train they have running. It's such an iconic piece to Kawakawa. It has been running for over 100 years moving coal from Kawakawa to Taumarere where a steam boat would take it to Opua but then later on they had a track going from Kawakawa to Opua but no than line from Taumarere to Opua is now non existent but they still have passenger train rides to Taumarere and back.
